Hello! I’m Carlos Pariente. For the last 10 years, I have the privilege of work on projects for great clients, both Spanish and international. These include TripAdvisor, Mango, Acciona, Ferrovial, Levantina, Roca, Diario AS, Merk, OHL, Santalucía and more.
Now, Product Designer at Mews. Former Lead Product Designer at Far Co & BBVA. As part of the global design team, I help create global banking experiences by working alongside teams from different countries. An enhanced user experience coupled with visual emotion and Bits of interaction are my way of working.
The BBVA new identity is a reflection of its values, especially of the ‘We are one team’ value, which emphasizes the importance of the people working at BBVA in over 30 countries and better convey its increasingly digital and global reality.
Some of the most interesting challenges in this project, had to do with careful typography work, achieving revolution rather than simple evolution and reflecting opportunities through an idea of prosperity.

2020 – BBVA
A new worldwide experience of credit cards with a global vision unifying the value proposition in all countries.
Also, we design the most safest BBVA card and sustainable with the environment.
Mango corporate site
2017 – Redbility
Redefinition of the Mango corporate site creating a new system of flexible modules aligned with the brand and business objectives.
The main goal was to strengthen talent recruitment, build loyalty, and provide clarity in communication with established store franchises and potential new franchisees.

2018 – Plastic Studio
FlowBox is one of the most exciting freelance jobs I've ever done. Together with the incredible team at Plastic Studio, I designed the site for the new Kendu release, a high-tech light panel that is revolutionizing the retail sector.
We focus on transmitting in a very visual way the exclusive features of this awesome product.
BBVA Smart Assistant
Definition of the new smart assistant avatar, which guides users through the entire BBVA experience. By bringing it to life, we design moods and emotions intuitively understandable by users and also aligned with the brand.
How can we communicate with the user through an artificial non-human symbol and transmit security and knowledge?

What I enjoy the most in terms of design is working on my own personal projects. I love playing with conceptual and creative explorations and solving specific challenges with new design tools.
I think it is an excellent way to explore new ideas and interactions and find creative solutions to improve my real projects, while having an amazing time ;)
